Features: There are two types of PTFE rods. One is a polytetrafluoroethylene molded rod and a polytetrafluoroethylene extruded rod. These two rods have different names because of different production processes.
Rods with a diameter of 4 ~ 9mm are selected from dispersing polymerized polytetrafluoroethylene resin and processed by paste extrusion; rods with a diameter of 10 ~ 50mm are selected from suspension polytetrafluoroethylene resin and processed by plunger extrusion; rods with a diameter of 50mm or more Made by molding. Polytetrafluoroethylene has the best chemical resistance and dielectric properties among known plastics. It is non-aging, non-sticky, and can be used at a temperature of -180 ° C to + 260 ° C under no load. It has the lowest coefficient of friction in the material.
Main Specifications:
project name | unit | index |
Apparent density | g / cm3 | 2.10 ~ 2.30 |
Tensile strength ≥ | MPa | 14.0 |
Elongation at break ≥ | % | 140 |
Note: When the rod diameter is greater than 16mm, only the apparent density is tested.
Uses: electrical insulation parts, sealing gaskets, anti-adhesive materials.
